Rebranding

PMB

About the Company

Advanced Behavior Treatment (ABT) is a behavioral treatment organization serving autistic adults through personalized, evidence-based care. The organization had an established and well-liked logo, but as ABT expanded into digital products, including a mobile application, the existing mark did not translate effectively at smaller sizes or within modern UX environments.

The Situation

As part of the app development process, the development team identified usability challenges with the existing logo. The mark lacked clarity and legibility when displayed in compact formats such as app icons, navigation elements, and small digital panels. ABT needed a refined logo system that could perform consistently across screens, platforms, and physical applications without losing its recognizable identity.

The Strategy

Our strategy focused on preservation and adaptation. We worked closely with the ABT team to retain the most meaningful elements of the original logo while simplifying and restructuring the design for improved scalability. The goal was to create a more versatile system that supported real-world use cases across digital and physical touchpoints.

The Logo

The updated logo was inspired by the original mark and incorporates a refined puzzle-piece motif, a symbol often associated with autism and diverse cognitive experiences. The design emphasizes clarity, balance, and strength, representing both the complexity of behavioral health and ABT’s commitment to thoughtful, individualized care.

The Logo Kit

A comprehensive logo kit was developed, including multiple variations that allow the mark to adapt to different environments. These formats ensure strong recognition whether the logo appears in an app interface, on printed materials, or across branded merchandise.

Brand Guidelines

An established system to organize how the artistic brand elements should be used in order to maintain brand consistency. To support long-term consistency, a brand guidelines system was created to define proper usage of logo variations, spacing, color, and supporting visual elements. This framework ensures the brand remains cohesive across teams, vendors, and future applications.

Marketing Collateral

Mockups and examples were produced to demonstrate how the updated identity performs across key touchpoints, including mobile apps, business cards, apparel, banners, and merchandise. These applications show the flexibility of the logo system while reinforcing ABT’s professional and compassionate brand presence.

Positioning for Success

Through this targeted rebranding effort, Advanced Behavior Treatment gained a logo system designed for modern digital use while preserving the integrity of its original identity. The refined brand now supports scalability, usability, and consistent recognition as the organization continues to grow across platforms and services.
